Service Desk Manager

2 days/week in office. Offices in VT, NH & ME

Manager a team of Tier 1 service desk technicians, who provide support in the areas of Windows OS (PC/Server), VMware, anti-virus/spam/spyware, ED&R, backups, and networking equipment (firewalls, routers, switches). Your role will be to directly manage individuals, customers relationships and the day-to-day operations of the team and measure results. You will also be directly involved at times regarding escalation decisions.

Requirements:

  •  Strong analytical and organizational skills
  •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  •  Proven leadership and mentoring abilities (You may qualify if a management role is your next logical step in career progression)
  •  Two-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience with Microsoft products, third party utilities, local and wide-area networks, hardware, and desktop operating systems
  • Industry certifications a plus: Microsoft, Fortinet, Security, CompTIA, VMware, etc.
